  1. Allow me to take the time to really thank you. I know there are SEVERAL people on YouTube that do tutorials. (I've watched several) I've never really felt I had an artistic flare of any kind at all. My saying has always been, "my brain just doesn't work that way" I was invited to a "painting party" once and I really enjoyed it, but being that I take care of my husband, who is a disabled Iraq war vet, I don't have the money to put into "parties" to paint. And to be honest, as much as I enjoyed it, I didn't care for WHAT they were painting for the most part. So I decided to look online. And you were one of the first I came across. I was SO drawn to you and your tutorials. I, like many, started out with Acrylics, and even attempted a few of yours in acrylic because I was intimated by oils and my lack of knowledge and skill. You are so good at explaining and educating us on what and why and how. It has been such an emotional outlet for me! I wish I could relate to you how much. I also have to home-school my daughter because of her limitations and I work very early mornings at Starbucks so it doesn't take away from my day from my daughter, at the same time helping out financially. This has become such a blessing and a way of escape, so to speak. I love the emotions you create in your art. I can't tell you how much I HOPE that you continue to offer things online, even at a price. It's an investment worth the sacrifice for me! THANK YOU! I'm so happy you're feeling better and please know that you ARE making a difference and your time IS appreciated to a LARGE degree!

I still don't feel like I can't just sit down and paint on my own yet, without a tutorial and an idea given to me. However, I'm finally at a place where I can look at something and at least know what to do to create it. (for the most part) πŸ™‚ My brain "still doesn't work that way" in regard to just coming up with my own idea for now. Though I do know the more I practice, the closer I am to getting there! Have a blessed day… until we paint again! πŸ˜‰
