Bass Shake – Adobe After Effects tutorial

Click to tweet? —
I answer most of the troubles with this video in the followup here:

Shake the camera with your thumping bass, even if you can’t separate the bass from the track. Pump it. Pump that bass. And then shake it. And by it I mean the camera. Not your booty. Shake your booty if you want but this is not about that at all. If you find I’m not talking about twerking it enough well… I’ve included a picture of my face so you know how amazingly bland I am so you know how little of twerking I know.

  1. Wow Evan, you went quick on this one, especially with the expressions! I had to rewind a lot, but it was totally worth it. Now my image of a subwoofer is thumping! Thank you!

  2. I just edited my first video using AE, and this tutorial is very helpful, Thank you so much

but I just found out I can't save .mp4 without Media Encoder, and my laptop doesnt have anymore storage lol

  3. Hey! Is it possible to apply this effect only to an image and not the background? The adjustment layer that I create affects to everything under it, is this right?
