  1. if you think of the word integers as 'numbers' and 'is' as 'equal' then it will become clearer.
    so i read it as: The sum of 3 consecutive numbers equals 24. find the 3 numbers.
    also consecutive just means in order so that means the three numbers come 1 after the other.. 7, 8, 9. in even simpler terms :what 3 numbers, that come 1 after the other, equals 24.
